Summary of Terms and Conditions

All invoices will be sent out on completion of work and are due within seven working days of invoice. 
PLEASE NOTE if paying by Credit Card there is a SURCHARGE of 2.9%
Failure to pay within these terms will result in late fees and if required recoverable costs.
For our installers to be able to work efficiently, you will need to ensure clear access to the underfloor
and ceiling access points.

Plumbing leaks must be fixed and rubbish and goods stored either under the floor or in the ceiling
should be removed before booking the installation.
If you have any work done either under the floor or in the ceiling such as the installation of
downlights or ducts in the ceiling after our assessor visited your property, you will need to let us know
immediately! Some work may affect how we do the installation and we need to know about it to
ensure your safety and that of our staff. We take no responsibility for any issues, including but not
limited to fire risk, arising as a result of work done as outlined above between the date of the
assessment and installation date if you have not notified us of this.
EHP may decline a job at our discretion if at any stage we know or suspect that asbestos may be
present in the property. The customer may at their discretion get an asbestos report. The cost of the
report shall be borne by the customer regardless of whether the report is positive or negative.
Please note if your property has been identified as having Michael Angelo tiles in acceptance of the
quote you agree that EHP cannot be held liable for any damaged tiles whilst installing insulation
If for any reason the installation cannot be completed, we will refund any payment for uncompleted
work from the quoted area.

Underfloor insulation and moisture barriers under wooden floors may occasionally result in shrinkage
of the floor as it dries out. EHP cannot be held responsible should this occur.
Please note if your property has been identified as having foil insulation: Our installers are required
to turn off the power when conducting any work with any form of foil based insulation. Power will be
turned off during the removal process if you have foil based insulation in your home. Neither EHP nor
our installers will be liable under any circumstances for any loss or damage suffered by you or any
other person arising from power being turned off at your home during the removal process and then
turned back on again once installation is complete. You acknowledge that our installers are unable to
predict or control whether any loss or damage may occur due to power being turned off and then
back on again.

Acceptance of quotations is deemed acceptance of EcoHome Program Limited Terms and
Conditions of Trade. All quotes are subject to availability of the products described.

For work not completed by EHP an updated Healthy Homes Assessment Report and a Certificate of Compliance can be supplied for a small fee. All reports are sent once full payment has been received. All updated Certificate of Compliance incur a fee of $50.00 by EHP ltd.

Terms and conditions of 2022 referral promotion

  • Within Christchurch and surrounding area only.

  • Unlimited referral of insulation installs

  • $100 fuel voucher must be picked up by the referred person at Ecohome office located @98 Strauss drive, Rolleston.

  • Must meet the minimum insulation requirement on any of the following install


Ceiling Insulation- 60m2

Underfloor insulation-60m2

Ground moisture Barrier/ Polyethene- 60m2

Wall insulation- 60m2


Garage Insulation- Garage ceiling and garage door min spend of $1000.


  • Referral fuel vouchers will only be given if the quote is accepted, completed and paid by the property owner.

  • We can't swap it for cash or credit it to an account.

  1. A Z gift card is like cash - if it's stolen or lost we won't be able to give you another one.

  2. Once it's activated, you can use it to buy things at any participating Z service station.

  3. We can't swap it for cash or credit it to an account.

  4. We'll tell you how much credit you have left every time you use it.

  5. We can't give you change when you use it, and when the card expires, any credit left on it can't be redeemed, transferred or refunded.

  6. You've got 24 months to use the card from the day it was bought.
